Le Vieux-Lille est un quartier situé au nord de Lille. C'est le quartier le plus riche en constructions antérieures au XIXᵉ siècle.

It still preserves many cobbled streets and some traces of the canals which crisscrossed the city in past centuries. It is populated by 20,000 inhabitants. There is a market every weekend on the Place de l'Opéra. And the old Lille district also hosts: a court, the conservatory, a Cathedral, art galleries, etc..
