Rue Gustave Delory in Lille by www.Rythmike.com

This street was named Gustave-Delory in 1926, in homage to the former Mayor of Lille who died in 1925. This street was one of the three main streets in the old Saint-Sauveur district. The street was significantly altered and widened during the destruction of the district in the 1960s. On the even side, on the route of the old rue du Ban de Weddes, some old buildings have however been preserved.
