The city in a few words

Martîgues is a French commune in Bouches-du-Rhône, also known by the nickname “Venice of Provence”. It extends on the banks of the Etang de Berre and on the Caronte canal. It is made up of three districts and several villages. The inhabitants are called Martégaux and Martégales.
